The conference is taking place this weekend
Work crew Anime Central The (ACen) event announced that this year’s conference will not require masks, a COVID-19 vaccine, or negative COVID-19 tests. The staff claimed that his policies “are based on current CDC guidelines and comply with the requirements of the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center and local and state health authorities regarding large indoor events.” The conference still strongly recommends that attendees wear masks. In addition, attendees must acknowledge whether they have symptoms of illness or have been near others with COVID-19. Staff say it will “continue to monitor requirements and guidance from state and local health departments.”

The event website also discloses that there will be no refunds or carryovers for badge holders.

Anime Central already remind Attendees said May 2 that it will require masks and COVID-19 vaccinations or negative tests.
ANN has reached out to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center (DESCC) for comment. The conference center replied, “We continue to follow the latest rules sent out by the CDC and IDPH.”
Voice actors and conference guests Erica Mendes And Lucien Dodge open Masks will be required for attendees who wish to see them at the event. The event website notes that masks may be mandatory in some areas or upon request by guests.
Anime Central 2022 will be held at the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois from May 20-22.
