How do we know if a particular character in One Piece is in his prime?

I think I pulled it off and I’m pretty serious about it, this is no joke. The personality is at its peak when they are in their oldest age as they still have their original hair color.

Aging in one piece works differently than our world. In our world, we peak between the ages of 25-30. But I doubt this is true in the One Piece Universe. Kaido and Big Mom are said to be stronger than ever and are 59 and 68 years old, respectively.

Characters can also be 140 years old or more.

Characters in One Piece also tend to get stronger in a linear fashion as opposed to the real world. However, Oda can’t really make a 100-year-old human stronger than that same person at 30. He therefore uses decolorization to show that they are past their prime.

It probably makes sense that Sengoku became white hair two years after he retired.

He stopped training so hard and started relaxing a lot more thus getting weaker/past his head period.
