Is the crocodile the real son of the white beard?

I was re-reading One Piece when I noticed how the crocodile talks about Whitebeard.

  • In the movie Impel Down, Crocodile says there were an infinite number of pirates who lost to Whitebeard and couldn’t get number one, so they hate Whitebeard.
  • In the cover stories, Crocodile has a chance to escape from prison but decides not to. But he wants to escape when Whitebeard is about to fight the World Government.
  • Once Crocodile sees Whitebeard at Marineford, he tries to attack him.
  • When Whitebeard is betrayed and stabbed, Crocodile shouts at Whitebeard and says he can’t believe someone who lost to him would be so weak.
  • For the rest of the war, the crocodile helps the Whitebeard Pirates.
  • While reading the paper, Crocodile asks what Luffy is doing (regarding 3D2Y), which Daz says that Luffy has a heavy scar and that these scars don’t heal quickly. Crocodile asks if he’s trying to suggest something.
  • Whitebeard from Sphinx in the New World. Crocodile says it’s time to go back to the “good old New World,” so it might be originally from the New World itself.

All of this makes me wonder if Crocodile is actually Whitebeard’s son.

I can’t help but notice some similarities he shares with the old man. Similarity number one, the eyes. If you see crocodile eyes and white beard eyes. Whitebeard’s eyes switch between yellow and white. When Whitebeard’s eyes are white, he and Crocodile look very similar. Sure, a lot of characters have white eyes, but seriously, take off the crocodile hair and put on a big white mustache, you’ll see. Additionally, some scenes show that they share somewhat of the same facial structure. Jaws are big.

Another reason I think could be possible, Crocodile has a real dislike for whitebirds, but we don’t know why. Maybe the crocodile hates that white beard never existed, maybe he just wanted to kill the old man to prove himself. He proved strong because he is strong, not because he might have been the son of Whitebeard.

The crocodile wanted to make a name for himself, not to live off his father’s reputation. This is also what I think Ivankov knew. Ivankov worked at Monkey D. Whitebeard already had a child, whose name was Crocodile. In addition, weren’t the revolutionaries in Alabasta? You can’t tell me they haven’t released some information about the crocodile.

* theory I’m sorry
