Netflix tells employees, quit if you feel offended by our content


In an internal memo sent to Netflix employees, the streaming giant suggests that if employees feel insulted by its content, they should resign.

Netflix recently sent a memo to its employees, apparently suggesting that if anyone feels offended by some of the content in the streaming giant’s library, they should quit.

She emphasized the features offered on the platform, which are intended to guide audiences to appropriate programming and cautioned that some employees may not be able to avoid offensive content, simply because of the specific roles they play in the company. The note concluded, “If you find it difficult to support our breadth of content, Netflix may not be the best place for you.”

Streaming is profiting, as we predicted, and Netflix titles are very popular globally… However, our relatively high family penetration – when including The large number of households sharing accounts – combined with competition, creates headwinds for revenue growth. The significant COVID boost to influx has obscured the picture until recently.”
