Elizabeth Olsen wowed critics and fans alike with her outstanding performance in Doctor Strange in a multiverse of madness. The 28th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is her seventh appearance in the franchise. Between the MCU and the other films, she has quite made a name for herself in the public eye.

The younger sister of the Olsen Twins can be said to have surpassed her in popularity. Letterboxd users are not afraid to speak their mind when it comes to movies of any kind. According to Letterboxd, these are her best movies.

10 Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015) – 3.1

Now a well-equipped team, the Avengers have to face a threat of their own making, Ultron. Avengers: Age of UltronIntroduced several new characters to the MCU, including Wanda and Pietro. Ultron recruits them to help him defeat the Avengers, but his plans to destroy the world become too big for them and they turn against him.

Although they didn’t get much to do, this was a pretty solid start for Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Unfortunately, Johnson didn’t make the film, but Olsen would become a staple in the franchise moving forward. Sadly, their inclusion in the movie doesn’t help bring it closer to the first movie.


9 Kodachrome (2017) – 3.2

Kodachrome It’s a Netflix original about a dying photographer so he wants to develop his movie before that happens. The point is, he took pictures on Kodachrome film and there’s only one place he’s developing it. His nurse asks his son to help them make the trip and he reluctantly agrees.

Although the film is not the most complex, it resonates emotionally with anyone who watches it. Elizabeth Olsen is happy to be sure, and her chemistry with Jason Sudeikis is often cited as a highlight. The story of a father reconnecting with his estranged son caused many viewers to suffocate while watching it.


8 Ingrid Goes West (2017) – 3.4

Ingrid goes west It follows an obsessed girl named Ingrid who decides to move to California to befriend Taylor. Ingrid orchestrates a plan to get close to Taylor while she is at work, she and Taylor begin to become good friends, until Taylor’s brother becomes suspicious.

Aubrey Plaza and Elizabeth Olsen pair well together in this dark look at the mania that tulle can happen to people. One of the things that some have pointed out is how this movie deals with mental health. Ingrid of Aubrey Plaza is someone with a mental health disorder however, some have found it to be a positive outlook, even if the things she does make the audience uncomfortable. Ingrid goes west It is a favorite on Metacritic as well.


7 Kill Your Dears (2013) – 3.5

Based on a real murder, kill your darlings It stars Dane Dehaan and Daniel Radcliffe as soon-to-be famous characters in 1944. Elizabeth Olson is also in this film as Jack Kerouac’s future wife, Eddie Parker. The film follows Allen Ginsberg’s film about Radcliffe as he worked at the university during World War II and the aforementioned murder.

Elizabeth Olsen has about two minutes of screen time in the movie, but more than a few Letterboxd reviews suggest she’s memorable. Most of the praise for the film has been won over the two main characters, however, and how it successfully depicts the events before and after David Camerer’s murder.


6 Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) – 3.5

The 28th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe follows Doctor Strange as he tries to protect a young girl named America Chavez. America has the ability to travel to any world in the multiverse and Wanda, and now the Scarlet Witch wants that power. Now that Wanda has been corrupted by Darkhold, she is willing to do anything to get her.

While the film has proven to be more divisive than the others, it has been considered the standout performances. The role of Elizabeth Olsen turns out to be the evil Scarlet Witch who has impressed viewers. The new character, America Chavez, a young avenger, creates a fun dynamic for both Benedict Cumberbatch and Olsen.


5 Martha Marcy May Marilyn (2011) – 3.6

Elizabeth Olsen plays Martha Martha Marcy May Marilyn, a girl who has been stuck in a sect for many years. When she runs away, she asks her sister to help her. But even in safety, Martha cannot shake the memories and the awe she experienced in the cult.

This was Elizabeth Olsen’s first film and it was a solid film debut. Outside of Olsen’s performance, which most people agree is amazing, the film tends to hold back. While it’s a shockingly terrifying look and Olsen delivers a calm and powerful performance, the film doesn’t fare much better in other respects.


4 Captain America: Civil War (2016) – 3.6

After joining the Avengers, Captain America: Civil War Wanda captures the field with the other Avengers. When Captain America is distracted, Crossbones detonates a bomb that Wanda is trying to contain but ends up killing Wakandan’s delegates in the process. This leads to a conflict with Wanda at her heart.

Captain America: Civil War It’s a movie about Captain America and Iron Man at its core. However, Wanda is blamed and punished for what happened. Letterboxd users don’t have much to say about Wanda but Olsen is as reliable as Wanda Maximoff.




3 Wind River (2017) – 3.8

wind river It follows an FBI agent named Gene Banner, who is called to a remote town to find out who killed a young girl in custody. The girl was found by a local game hunter, Cory Lambert, and together they tried to solve the murder.

The film really gets into the “white savior” problem because this is a story of violence against indigenous women told through the lens of two oval characters. However, most of those who watched the movie, really enjoyed it. The message is important and well-behaved.


2 Avengers: Endgame (2019) – 3.9


After their defeat at the end of the last movie, the Avengers unite again Avengers: Endgame. This time, they’re traveling back in time to steal the Infinity Stones so they can bring back everyone they’ve lost, including Wanda. Each hero from across the MCU unites to fight against Thanos’ army. Even Wanda comes close to hitting him.

Elizabeth Olsen spends a lot of this film as dust. But when she returns, she gets some standout moments during the final battle, allowing her to flex her full strength. Avengers: Endgame She has a lot to love and many felt she was a great tool for The Infinity Saga.

Avengers: Infinity War He finds Wanda with Vision, trying to spend some normal time together. When Thanos Vision’s forces fail, they are rescued by Captain America and the rogue Avengers. They make a plan to remove the Infinity Stone from Vision’s head, but it’s too late and Wanda has to kill him before Thanos can complete his mission.

Is Letterboxd Avengers: Infinity War To be among the best in the MCU. It helps that Olsen gets a decent persona to work with, too. The stakes are high, the action is well-made and the performances are among the best.
