Watch The Essex Serpent Season 1 Episode 2 – The fallout from Gracie’s death. The first episode spent time introducing Cora to Essex and the beliefs of the people there. After the death of her husband, Cora was free to do anything. The moment I heard about a snake appearing in Essex, I decided to follow it up. What Cora saw was her target, but the townspeople saw it as a death sentence believing that the serpent was coming for them too.
By the time Cora arrived, the town was reeling from Gracie’s disappearance, and her sister, Naomi, was one of the first to witness the serpent. Cora tries to discover her existence with the help of a deputy named Will. Eventually, by the end of the episode, Gracie is found dead. What does this mean for the city of Essex? Let’s find out.

Finally while walking ashore, Cora and Will saw a ship sailing in red with smiles on their faces while Cora shed a tear. But on the other hand, when it comes to Naomi, she saw a serpent in the same waters. After reuniting with Martha, Cora returns to Will to discuss what they saw on the beach.
They come to the conclusion that what they see as science is something that the general public without knowledge sees as magic. This is true because the people of Essex were preparing to fight the serpent. They are planning to take it.
Will thinks that sharing Cora’s knowledge with the city kids will help. So, Cora takes a class, but the questions about the snake left her confused because she wanted to calm the kids.
Cora was unable to answer their questions clearly. This made the children believe that she was hiding the truth. The serpent is already coming for them. The episode ended with Naomi having an epileptic fit. The children think she summons the serpent.
Amid all this, back in London, Locke and Spencer met another young patient who needed heart surgery. This time Luke succeeds and makes history. Martha and Spencer help the sick and her sister with the rent because they are in financial trouble.
The Essex Serpent Season 1 Episode 2 With Subtitles
The Essex Serpent Season 1 Episode 2 delves into the development of the relationship between Will and Cora. The show spent time trying to get the ideas of different individuals together. Especially about Will & Cora and how they found a point where they agreed with each other. Plus, no matter how hard one tries to change the perception of others, there is a high probability that they will fail.
The same thing happened when Cora tried to invest her knowledge with the city kids. They had a hard time accepting that because they had lived with the truth they had been told for most of their lives. We hope to see this change in the upcoming episodes. But according to the scheme, it will be difficult for Korra.
Likewise, back in London, no one believed in Luke. He even managed to save his life by having heart surgery he alluded to do. Aside from all of that, the show continues to hint at the romance between Will and Cora. So far the show seems adamant that there is no snake, only science and ordinary people see it as a sorcery.
