1. Lee Ji Hoon as Park Hae Young
It definitely highlights Lee Je Hoon as he takes on the role of Prosecutor Park Hae Young. Like any other budding teenager, Ji Hoon enrolled in university to pursue a course he did not choose. He soon realized that he wasn’t cut out for a biotech course, but instead a place on the big screen. Soon he appeared in a few independent films and commercial films. He actually finished his military service in 2014. He returned to retain his fame as an actor. Lee Je Hoon’s latest endeavors include his role as a taxi driver in the hit movie Kdrama Taxi Driver in 2021. His role as Cho Sang Gu in the series Move to Heaven also earned him a rating of 9.2!
2. Kim Hye Soo as Cha Soo Hyun
The other main role in the Signal Kdrama is Kim Hye Soo who plays Cha Soo Hyun. Hye-Soo is an A-List certified actress who made her debut in 1986. She was just a high school student at the time and was still able to beautifully portray her feelings. Soon, she began to gather fame and recognition as she appeared in more dramas and films. Her most recent projects include her role as Shim Eun Suk in the 2022 and 2020s series Hyena (played by Jung Eun Young). Furthermore, she was also cast to play the role of Im Hwa Ryeong in the upcoming series Umbrella.
3. Joo Jin Woong as Lee Jae Han
He played another important character in the story, Jo Jin Woong. He plays the prosecutor from the past Lee Jae Han who is linked to Hae Young via walkie-talkie. Jin Woong is a South Korean actor who gained fame mostly after his role in Signal Kdrama. He has also starred in many other TV series and movies which have added a lot to his success. Some of these projects include series like Tree With Deep Roots and Beyond the Cloud.
4. Other support casts
The series is never a one-man show, in fact, there are many individuals who shed their blood and sweat for the drama’s success. She played some supporting roles in the drama, Kim Won Hae, Lee Yoo Joon, Jang Hyun Sung, and Jung Han Bi. The series is directed by Kim Won Suk who has kept the themes of thriller, mystery and dark fantasy in mind while producing the drama. Furthermore, he is the creator of the blockbuster series Arthdal Chronicles. In addition to this, he is also known for directing other songs like Monstar and The Great King: Sejong.
