Play in Tokyo in July and August 2022
The official website of the new adaptation phase of Shigeru Mizuki‘s GeGeGe no Kitarō The manga revealed a new photo of the cast in costume on Wednesday.

Takahiro Tamura He is writing and directing the play. The play will be shown at the Meijiza Theater in Tokyo from July 29 to August 15, 2022.
2022 marks the centenary of Mizuki’s birth. Mizuki died in 2015 at the age of 93.
Last GeGeGe no Kitarō Anime – the sixth TV anime incarnation – premiered in April 2018 and was replaced Dragon Ball Super in the same time period. The show entered its “second year” in April 2019, then entered its “final arc” titled “Nurarihyun Arc” in October 2019. The show ended in March 2020 after 97 episodes. Crunchy Roll Stream the series as it aired.
The latest anime movie will get an anime movie project titled Kitaro Tango: Jijiji no Nazo (The Birth of Kintari: The Jijiji Secret). The film is part of four “big projects” to commemorate the centenary of Mizuki’s birth. The film will open in the fall of 2023.
Mizuki manga, which began in 1959 under the name Hakkaba KitarooHe has produced seven television series (including one Hakkaba Kitaroo anime), several animated films, and two live-action films. The stories center around an inhuman boy who stands on the line between the human world and the supernatural world.
