The Nightwing War and the return of Fables begin in this week’s DC releases


Nightwing #92 began the fight between Dick Grayson and Blockbuster for Bludhaven, while Fables released its first release since 2015.

The Battle for the Heart of Bloodhaven begins on Tuesday for DC Comics.

Written by Tom Taylor with art Bruno Redondo, which tops DC’s New Release Week night suite #92. Since the creative team took over the title with night suite Number 78, they have increased the reach of Dick Grayson’s heroics by turning him into a wealthy philanthropist without the mask, giving back to his adopted city through the Alfred Pennyworth Foundation. However, not everyone in Bloodhaven is a fan of Dick’s altruistic efforts, not least Roland Desmond aka Blockbuster, the city’s number one crime boss. The upcoming release will start Battle for the City, although it’s not the only title to be launched from the capital next week.

Nearly a year since it was first announced, superstitions Finally back. Previously part of DC’s Vertigo imprint, the series originally ran for 150 issues from 2002 through 2015, but has now made a comeback through its mature DC imprint, DC Black Label. pick up where superstitions #150 left and led by writer Bill Willingham and artist Mark Buckingham, superstitions #151 begins a 12-part return of the title.
